Separate cleaning from production
The first question is where a repeatable cleaning route can run without interfering with people, forklifts, work cells, or material flow. Clear operating boundaries matter more than the size of the building.
Match the machine to the soil
Fine dust, packaging debris, metal fragments, oil, and wet residue require different cleaning methods. A site assessment should identify the actual material on the floor before choosing sweeping, vacuuming, or scrubbing equipment.
Plan for daily ownership
Bins, filters, brushes, tanks, charging, and exceptions still need assigned people and time. Automation is most useful when those responsibilities are built into the existing shift plan.
