Collect only what answers a question
Cleaning time, completed area, stoppages, and service alerts can each support a decision. A dashboard should begin with the decisions the facility wants to make, not with every metric the machine can produce.
Review exceptions first
Repeatedly blocked routes, shortened tasks, and frequent interventions usually deserve attention before average utilization. Exceptions show where the operating plan and the building no longer match.
Connect insight to ownership
Each useful alert should have a person, response, and expected timeframe attached to it. Data without a follow-up routine becomes another record rather than an operating tool.
