Start with the actual exposure
Slips, missed routes, repetitive strain, and work performed around active traffic are different risks. Identify the specific exposure before deciding whether automation can reduce it.
Keep records in context
Task reports may help show when and where a route ran, but they do not prove that every condition was safe or every area met the required standard. Human inspection and incident procedures still matter.
Do not transfer responsibility
A robot changes how work is performed; it does not eliminate the operator’s duty to plan, supervise, maintain, and respond. Risk reduction depends on the complete operating system around the equipment.
