Evaluate the ground, not just the acreage
Slope, drainage, trees, curbs, public access, and signal coverage can matter as much as total area. A large lawn is not automatically a simple autonomous route.
Define the outdoor task
Mowing, field marking, edge work, and debris handling require different equipment and operating plans. The desired finish and schedule should determine which workflow is worth evaluating.
Plan for changing conditions
Weather, seasonal growth, events, and temporary obstacles can change the route quickly. Human inspection and a clear stop-work policy remain important even with autonomous equipment.
